Weathering the storm

In Iowa, the weather can change in a flash.

As the official weather information provider

for Iowa State University, EH&S works

diligently to keep the campus prepared and

safe in the event of severe weather. EH&S

weather related web pages received over

27,000

page hits in 2016, reinforcing the

need for accurate and reliable information at

just the click of a mouse.

EH&S continued its partnership with the

National Weather Service and provided

annual Storm Spotter training for the campus

community. This training gives individuals

the tools to act in the event of severe weather.

Since its inception, over

200

individuals on

campus have participated in the course.
