EVALUATIONS AND RAISES At the end of the fall and spring semesters, fill out Student Employee Evaluation form. If budget allows, students are eligible for raises up to $0.25. The program manager and director must approve raises. Fill out the Student Employee Performance Evaluation Raise Request. Give evaluations and raise requests to the account clerk for personnel file. HIRING PROCESS The SOP for the Student Hiring Process is available on the Intranet. The student supervisor will complete the Student Employee Request form, get program manager and director approval, and submit to the account clerk. Student Employee Request Form is required for all hires, this includes interns and volunteers, regardless of whether advertising is needed or not. Job Description and Job Skills/Requirements need to be complete but brief; all fields from the request form are needed to create a posting. A Student Job Tasks document has been created for consistency. Notify the clerk IV to remove the job posting. ONBOARDING Give as much notice as possible for the start date. Give the account clerk the name, start date, and ISU ID number. Various documents and access requests/approvals need to be done through several campus departments. At times, it can take a few days. On the first day of employment the clerk will meet with the student
