44 Employee Helpful Stuff return. SCHEDULES AND PROFILES New student employees at EH&S need to fill out the Profile Sheet and submit it to the clerk IV. The clerk IV also takes a photo of each student for their profile. These are posted in the lunch room for EH&S staff reference. Students also need to submit an Student Hourly Personnel Information sheet to the clerk at the start of each new semester. Admin keeps track of schedules and profiles to ensure building security and safety. A master schedule is kept in the “In Case of Emergency” book, so in the event of an emergency, we know who is working during that time. Students are expected to work during normal business hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Monday-Friday) under supervision of qualified personnel. You make the schedule so you are responsible to maintain it. If you are scheduled to work and are unable to due to illness or emergency, please call the EH&S front desk at (515) 294-5359. If it’s before/after hours, leave a message and the Admin Support Staff will relay that to your supervisor and/or group. It is an expectation that everyone will be on time. Occasional delays are expected; however habitual tardiness is not acceptable and will be addressed by your supervisor. If a situation arises that causes you to be late for work, please notify the Admin Support Staff immediately. TELEPHONE CALLS / COMPUTER USAGE Do NOT make personal long distance phone calls or faxes. If you need to make them, please use your cell phone. Computers and printers are available for departmental use ONLY. Set your cell phones to vibrate or reduce the ring volume when in the office. Time spent on cell phones during work time should be restricted to emergency use or work related communications. Texting should also be kept to a bare minimum.
